Jill Vought, M.S., CCC/SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist and the Owner of Communication Corner and More! Inc. with 25 years of experience, certified through the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Ms. Jill has a wide range of experience and expertise in the treatment of apraxia, oral motor disorders, feeding/swallowing disorders, autism, voice disorders, articulation/ phonological disorders, auditory processing disorders, craniofacial anomalies, reading disorders and receptive/expressive language disorders. In addition, Jill has a highly diversified background including experience in acute care, inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation, private practice, as well as skilled nursing facilities, with clinical expertise in pediatrics.
Jill is Level 1 PROMPT trained. She is trained in Beckman’s Oral Motor Treatment Protocol and is Hanen Certified in “It Takes Two to Talk” and “More Than Words”. She has attended extensive training in Lindamood-Bell Instruction for Reading and Comprehension including the following: “Visualizing and Verbalizing”, “Seeing Stars”, “Talkies” and “LiPS”. In addition, she has undergone extensive training for FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing).
Jill is en route to becoming an Orofacial Myologist, seeking certification through the International Association of Orofacial Myology. She is actively treating individuals with myofunctional disorders.
She has extensive hospital-based experience working for All Children's Hospital Specialty Care Center in Fort Myers, Florida and Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Jill also provided contract Speech Therapy services at Lutz Preparatory Charter School, 2011-2012 school year (www.lutzprep.org).

Jill has two daughters, ages 16 and 14. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children in her free time – especially if it involves going to the beach!
Ashley is our Lead Occupational Therapist. She graduated from Lees-McRea College (N.C.) in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. Ashley went on to complete her graduate studies at Milligan College (TN) in 2008, where she received her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Ms. Ashley has a wide-range of experience in a variety of settings including: inpatient rehab, acute care, skilled nursing and outpatient pediatrics. Although Ashley enjoys working with many different populations, pediatrics is where her true passion lies. Ms. Ashley joined our team in March, 2018. She has continued her education and completed therapeutic training in the areas of, Sensory Processing Disorder, Reflex Integration, Astronaut Training, Visual and Vestibular rehab, Brain Gym, Therapeutic Listening Program, Integrated Listening, Pediatric feeding and Pediatric Yoga.
Ms. Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, two fur babies, family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, cooking and running/working out.
Emily Buker graduated from Keiser University in 2014 with her Associate of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She has been a member of our team at Communication Corner and More!, Inc. since 2014.
Emily is licensed by the state of Florida, and is certified by the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy. With over 5 years of experience volunteering to lead children's groups at camps, children’s clubs, and missions trips overseas, she has a passion for working with children. She has spent time coaching volleyball, teaching piano lessons, and enjoys leading a small weekly mentorship group for high school girls. Emily is certified in Interactive Metronome and recently participated in continuing education to implement Reflex Integration. She is a self-starter with a heart of gold!
Emily enjoys kayaking, ultimate frisbee, playing music, writing music and spending time with her friends and family.
Angi is our Lead Speech-Language Pathologist. She is licensed in the state of Florida and ASHA-certified. She graduated with a Master of Science degree from the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at USF in 2010. She earned a minor degree in American Sign Language during her undergraduate studies and was a Certified Basic Cued Speech Instructor. Angi previously worked as a full-time school-based Speech-Language Pathologist at a Pasco County elementary school for 2 ½ years, where she discovered how much she really loves working with children! She enjoys working with a variety of disorders and disabilities, including Autism, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, literacy, auditory processing, oral motor, phonological/articulation disorders, apraxia, stuttering, and other language disorders. She has found particular success with children using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices and iPad applications. Ms. Angi always looks for new ways to incorporate technology into her therapeutic practice and enjoys working on her iPad as much as her patients do! Ms. Angi joined Communication Corner and More! in August, 2017.
Angi received the ACE award 2016-2020 as well for her participation in continuing education, over and above what is required! She loves to learn!
Ms. Angi is married with 4 furbabies, who are all rescues. She enjoys gaming (Xbox and tabletop), riding her motorcycle, and the nightlife around town (especially concerts).
Maria is a 1993 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology emphasizing on child development. Early in her career, she focused on working with children and was employed for 5 years as a caregiver at a group day care home in Pennsylvania. The majority of Maria's work experience, prior to coming to Communication Corner and More! Was in retail management for Gap Inc., with extensive experience working with people.
Ms. Maria is our "go to" person within this company! She has been known to process billing, answer phone calls, take payments all at the same time! She has been working for Communication Corner and More!, Inc. since 2010. We are not sure what we would do without this lady--holding it all together!
Maria is married with two children, one of whom is a graduate of three years of speech therapy with Ms. Jill. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, knitting, making jewelry, and any kind of art related projects. She even created the crash pads in all therapy rooms!
Jenna is a Florida State licensed and ASHA-certified Speech Language Pathologist. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Florida State University in 2014, with a minor in Psychology. She earned her Master’s of Education in Speech Language Pathology from Valdosta State University in 2016. Jenna previously worked full-time as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist for Hillsborough County Public Schools for 3 years. She loved working in the schools but was ready to take on a new challenge and experience another wonderful area of the Speech Language Pathology field. She joined our team in July, 2019 and has been such an amazing addition! She is now taking on a supervisory role of SLPAs here at Communication Corner too!
She has always known she wanted to work with children at a young age when she started babysitting at 10 years old. She enjoys working with children with varying disabilities; Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, fluency disorders (stuttering), articulation disorders, phonological disorders, auditory processing delays and early childhood intervention. She enjoys researching and learning new strategies to implement with her clients.
Ms. Jenna is married to her high school sweetheart and has one little fur-child cat. She enjoys spending her time outdoors; hiking, biking, boating, going to the beach. She also enjoys reading, college football, attending concerts and local events. She loves being around her family and friends as much as possible.
Gabe graduated from University of South Florida in 2014 with his second Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Originally earning a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education from Eastern Michigan University in 1998, he is a former stage actor, and high school drama, chorus, public speaking, and English teacher. He has been part of the Communication Corner and More!, Inc. team since June of 2018. As a licensed SLPA, Mr. Gabe has many years of experience providing play-based and pediatric multidisciplinary therapies.
He has spent time working with refugees, teaching them English and helping them acclimate to life in The United States. He also volunteers at church as a first communion teacher and adult choir member. Gabe has a non-verbal special needs child and loves to research new ways to help his son communicate better.
Mr. Gabe enjoys working with children on the autism spectrum and children with language delays. He would like to go through PROMPT training and learn even more about disorders of speech and articulation.
Gabe enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with his family, singing in an adult choir, and doing home repairs.
Briana is an Occupational Therapist here at Communication Corner. She joined our team in August, 2019. Ms. Briana graduated from Virginia State University (Virginia) in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Health and graduated from Howard University (DC) in 2012 with her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. She has 6 years of experience in the nursing home, home health, early intervention and pediatric outpatient clinic. She has continuing education with MNRI (Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration), and Handwriting without Tears. She plans to become a Certified Handwriting Specialist, International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant along with interest in Kid's Yoga.
Ms. Briana recently got married to her husband Jerome in September, 2019 and has an amazing little 2 year old girl named Zoey. She enjoys traveling to new places, trying new recipes, going to the beach and visiting family back in Virginia.
Ms. Bri graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She went on to attend Cabarrus College of Health Sciences with an Associate of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 2011. Bri joined the Communication Corner team in July, 2018 as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Her previous experience includes working at a behavioral consulting company. Ms. Bri is passionate about working with children and watching them succeed. She is now certified in Interactive Metronome.

Andrea is a native to Florida, born in Tampa! She attended Pasco Hernando College on a softball scholarship, studying Medical Billing and Interior Design. She has two children, 8 and 2 years old. Andrea joined the Communication Corner team in July, 2019. She began as an Administrative Assistant and quickly worked her way up to becoming a Billing Specialist/AR Specialist.
Ms. Andrea is always happy to help and answer questions! Andrea’s favorite thing to do is visit the beach and its many restaurants and shops.
Ms. Latricia, NRCMA, has a B.S. in Healthcare Administration with over 20 years of experience both Clinical and Medical Administrative support. She has worked in Pediatrics, Family Practice, OB-GYN, Dermatology, Internal Medicine. She has trained and instructed students in the medical field. As an instructor, she has taught Medical Assistant students, Medical Administrative and Medical Billing and Coding.

In her free time, she enjoys family time, cooking, painting, singing, dancing, traveling, watching movies, and playing with her Doberman “Herc”.
Karen has over 30 years of medical office experience working in the areas of revenue cycle management, billing, and collections. She joined as a liaison between Florida Pediatric Associates, LLC (FPA) and Communication Corner and More! Ms. Karen is the primary contact for billing questions related to FPA. She is always happy to help and you can always hear her “smiling” over the phone!
Karen is married and enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, cross-stitching, and shopping for anything!
